no whining!

Anybody seeen my hairbrush lately?? I’m Larry the Cucumber from Veggie Tales – looking for my hairbrush……but maybe Peach needs it more for her ‘fuzz’?!
Actaully, I’m not ‘really’ looking for it. The unofficial poll that I’ve taken over the last year seems to be 95% to 5% to keep my hair short – like at about a #3-#5 clipper short. After all, people tell me, there aren’t heads that look that good with hair as short as mine and look at it this way – no hair products to buy and no bad hair days!
Larry Boy is more than a reminder about not whining about not having hair. It is a good reminder that there is really VERY little to whine about. With governemtents crumbling around us, daily,  with our world caving liteally in on us, boulder by boulder, river by river, wild fire by wild fire…..daily…..
What do think you should be doing about it? Are you going to  sit and whaller in your pile of fertilizer/ manure or are you going to take the short 5 seconds it takes to look at the end of your hand and say: How can I make a difference today?
I think I’ll take the 5 second route – how about you?

What better day that to remind everyone that the Mat-Su Relay is May 20-21 at the NEW LOCATION of Wailla High Shool this year? The American Cancer Society is the Official Sponsors of Birthdays!! And Purple is the Surviror’s color!

This is a time we can come together as a communtity to REMEMBMER! those who have valiantly fought before us and spurred us on to find beter treatments, preventions and new drugs and clinical trials.

This is a time to CELEBRATE those who, from day one of dignosis are SURVIRORS and are daily fighting this disease with the help of YOU  – those of  YOUwho make meals for them, YOU who take them to doctor appointments and who hold up thier wearyarms? (They also give you a good keister kick when you want to give up!)

And,as we stand

TOGETHER, as a communithy, we FIGHT  BACK,  the ugly enemy who threatens our lives but will never, EVER  take our hearts or souls.

REMEMBER! CELEBRATE! FIGHT BACK!!

Look for a Relay For Life in you area – there are over 2300 of them in U.S. each year and ove 23 countries!

And don’t forget to look for THE ‘FRONTIERSMAN’S
RELAY FOR LIFRE COVERAGE Friday and Sunday’s coverage – it is ALWAYS  incredible!!
